December 17, 2016
Stone Harbor Resort, Sturgeon Bay, WI
This was our first night at Stone Harbor, and we're already excited to be coming back next month! (Although we're hoping that next time we don't have to drive through a snow storm to get there...) A beautiful establishment in a gorgeous setting on the water (OK, mostly ice right now), with a welcoming space to play and dance and wonderful staff--doesn't get much better than that! We were especially happy to meet Kirsten, who was able to get off early for her birthday and hang out with us for a few hours to celebrate. We were also excited to have Dave (an out-of-town guest of the resort) sit in with us on drums for an energetic rendition of "Mustang Sally"--great fun! You should be planning a Door County weekend sure to check our calendar!

December 10, 2016
Elk's Lodge, Watertown, WI
Watertown Dance and Social Club and Watertown Elks Lodge--It was great to be back in Watertown, and this time performing in the former Watertown Opera House, now under the care of the local Elks Lodge. Spacious stage (with an amazing backdrop!), beautiful dance floor, energetic and engaged crowd--we had loads of fun! (Ask Matthew, our expert roadie, photographer, and sound consultant, about his special dance...) We always enjoy this group and hope to be back soon.

December 7, 2016
Buck & Honey's, Sun Prairie, WI
Just another cozy evening in the lounge hanging out with lots of friends and family.

November 12, 2016 (7:00-9:00pm)
Prairie Coffeehouse, Keyeser, WI
Our evenings at the Coffehouse are always special, and this one was no exceptions. A full solo set of Jerry's original music (occasionally joined by some friends) and a full set of NTS, all in front of an audience intent on listening to every note--keeps us on our toes and makes for great fun! Hoping to be back soon--and you need to check it out next fall!

November 11, 2016
Watertower Chop House, Sun Prairie, WI
Another great night staying cozy in the Chop House lounge, playing lots of fun tunes, and watching several energetic dancers--always extra fun for us! A wonderful evening shared with lots of friends and family.

November 8, 2016
East Side Club, Monona, WI
Skilaufer Club--We always have a great time playing for this group--a great mix of strong dancers and folks who enjoy just listening. We had special fun bringing a couple new tunes--"Are you lonesome tonight" (an Elvis classic, but first recorded in 1927 by Charles Hart) and "I want you to want me" (Cheap Trick's biggest selling single)--and taking the rare opportunity to play a couple polkas. We're looking forward to coming back in May--you may want to check out this group of activity-loving adults.

October 21, 2016
Daly's Bar & Grill, Sun Prairie, WI
We had a great time back at Daly's, with lots of friends and family--and some dancers!--sharing the evening with us. We're looking forward to next time--don't miss it!

September 23, 2016
Lucky's Bar & Grille, Waunakee, WI
This was our first night playing at Lucky's--a great venue with gracious hosts (thanks to Rod and all the staff), wonderful food, spacious stage, and even room for dancing (along with an amazing selection of craft brews on tap, for those interested). We always enjoy the Waunakee community, and we're hoping to be back outside on the patio this summer (seems so far a way...).

September 20, 2016
We thought we would be closing yet another patio season, but it was actually the mosquitoes who took over that responsibility--the three of us and a few die-hard listeners were finally driven inside after we finished the first set. But we had a great summer season here and look forward to coming back next year. A big thank you to Blake, Lucas, Virginia, and all the staff for their warm hospitality.

September 18, 2016
CWC, Madison, WI
Family Picnic--It's always a very special time for us when we get to play at the Center, and especially for the annual family picnic. And what a beautiful day for this special event! Thanks to Barb and all the staff for the planning and effort required to pull off such a great event. Hoping to be back next year...

September 17, 2016
Buck & Honey's, Sun Prairie, WI
Another gorgeous evening on the patio, with fall just five days away! We are so much enjoying these these beautiful days--and realizing that next time we come back to B&H's we'll be in the lounge feeling cozy as cold autumn winds are blowing outside! (Those who know Amy well may pick up on a theme here--purple skirt, purple flowers, purple wash lights...)

September 14, 2016
Beautiful mid-September weather, another gorgeous sunset, and another fun evening shared with family and friends. It's very rare for us to be playing outside this late into September, and we're loving it! The days of summer are passing...

September 2, 2016
Holiday Inn Harborview, Port Washington, WI
And one more beautiful night as we closed out the patio season at Rusty Anchor. We've had some special times visiting Port Washington this summer (where some locals now know us as Thirty Nine Standard--long story), and we're looking forward to coming back next year. Special thanks to Patrick, Jeanne, and all the staff for making our times here so special.

August 31, 2016
ClearviewJuneau, WI
We had a wonderful time playing in the front yard of this beautiful facility on a perfect summer evening in Dodge County. The crowd was full of energy and kept us on our toes for the entire show. Thanks to all the staff for their efforts in making this a very special time. We're hoping to be back soon...

August 27, 2016
Another beautiful evening as we closed out the patio season at Pooley's--we were that last band of the summer. (Sounds like a country song...) As always, it was great to see family and friends. We really missed Mo (big thanks to Chris for some pics), but we had some special fun with Phil joining us on drums--looks like he was having fun, too! Looking forward to coming back next year (after fall and all that other stuff)...  Special thanks to Peter and all the staff for their hospitality.

August 26, 2016
Daly's Bar & Grill, Sun Prairie, WI
It was just a great night back at Daly's. We started a little early to be done by kick-off (another Packers pre-season game), so we got to meet a few more folks from the fish fry crowd. Lots of friends and family, lots of fun tunes, good food all around (even some for us on our break), and then Joe and Tim bringing their duet of "I Got You Babe"--simply...amazing! We're glad that this will be a regular stop for us over fall and winter--be watching for dates!

August 24, 2016
A drizzly morning finally turned into a beautiful evening, with the National Weather Service promising 0% change of precipitaion. The sudden downpour at the end of our first set shortened the evening (and made for lots of equipment drying in the days following), but we still had a great time with friends and family. Only  three more summer dates on the calendar here--don't put it off any longer!

August 13, 2016
Nau-Ti-Gal, Madison, WI
The weather was perfect for this busy evening in the back yard--we celebrated Happy Birthdays for Andy, Stacy, and very special friend Terri, along with Fleetwood Mac's 49th birthday (we threw in a couple of their songs for good measure). We also celebrated Tom's bachelor party with an especially energetic version of "Think," complete with a special up-close introduction from Amy--it was Tom's friend's idea (hope Tom can still sleep nights). We loved seeing lots of friends and family, dancers of all ages, and quite a few people singing along to the tunes. Can't wait to be back next summer to this special spot--be sure to check it out before summer is over!

August 10, 2016
Just another beautiful evening on the patio, and a very special Happy Birthday to Ed (out with Mo to celebrate the evening). After a couple early weather cancellations, we've sure been enjoying our season at Uno! Another gentle reminder: Summer is followed by fall. We've got a few more summer dates here on the calendar--don't put this off any longer!

August 6, 2016 (7:00-10:00pm)
Octopi Brewing, Waunakee, WI
Another evening of perfect weather, fun tunes, great crowd, friends and family, Giant Jenga, cute dogs, tasty brews--and then all of a sudden, huge mosquitoes! We were well into our second set when all of us enjoying the front yard were forced to take refuge inside the taproom. It took us just a few minutes to transport a few basic pieces of equipment, and then we finished up our set in semi-acoustic fashion. It was actually great fun, and we suffered only a few bites in the process. We're hoping to be back for at least one more evening in the front yard (maybe after a good frost...).

August 5, 2016 (6:00-7:30pm)
Living Water Church, Sun Prairie, WI
Summer Family Fun Night!--Another great evening in the big backyard! We enjoyed bringing the tunes as folks of all ages came out to enjoy the food, fun, and fellowship. Hoping to be back next summer.

August 3, 2016
Buck & Honey's, Sun Prairie, WI
It was definitely a warm evening, but once the sun hid behind the clouds to create a beautiful prolonged sunset, we were able to keep cool and enjoy bringing some tunes to the great crowd on the patio. It's always fun to have lots of friends and family out--cousins Anna and Claire (who was visiting from the Wausau area) sure made G-Mo smile!

July 30, 2016
We always have a great time playing on the patio at Pooley's, and this evening was no exception--the sunset was gorgeous, the crowd was friendly, and the acoustics were amazing (as always). Only one more date before fall and Badger football--you should make plans to join us!

July 27, 2016
It seemed like a long wait, but we finally made it back to our sunset patio series after threatening weather cancelled the past two dates. And it was a beautiful evening! We were glad to see lots of friends and family out, including daughter Anna who joined Amy for "Down on the Corner," our new friend Amanda who took on "Something to Talk About," Mo who took lots of pictures (as always!), and Phil who was just cool--great fun! Don't wait too long to enjoy one of these summer evenings with us...

July 23, 2016
We didn't even get to play, but this still deserves a short story! The weather was threatening all day, but the radar and all the forecasters said that everything would blow out of Potosi by 6pm--manager Tony agreed that we should come on over. The first drops fell as we drove into town, and the last drops fell as we drove out four hours later! But we had a great time enjoying some wonderful food and beverages (after all, this is the Potosi Brewing Company!) as we waited for the forecasters to redeem themselves. Oh, well, we're hoping to be back next summer to this very special historical spot (with arguably the most beautiful patio in Wisconsin). We thank Tony and all the staff for being so gracious and patient as we waited it out together.

July 16, 2016
Nau-Ti-Gal, Madison, WI
Again, kids dancing--we love it! And we love playing in this beautiful backyard at the Nau-Ti-Gal--yup, that's the Yahara River riiight behind us. We have one more date (August 13) this summer (the one before this coming winter)--make plans to come out and join us.

July 15, 2016 (6:30-9:30pm)
Holiday Inn Harborview, Port Washington, WI
Fish Day Eve!--What a gorgeous evening on our new favorite Port Washington patio! We had a wonderful crowd, friends and family, kids dancing, gracious hosts--what more could we ask for! We'll be back once more this summer (September 2)--take the short, beautiful drive and join us.

June 18, 2016
We were excited to be back for our first Pooley's date this year--wouldn't be summer without it! It was great to have lots of friends and family out, including several family members visiting from out of town (Greg and Clair from Wausau, and Kiki, Maria, and young Peter from Chicago--how cool is that!). Another of our favorite stages, and the acoustics are great--be sure to come out and join us next month (remember, summer doesn't last forever...).

June 17, 2016
Daly's Bar & Grill, Sun Prairie, WI
Our second date on that spacious stage at Daly's, and we had a blast! Great crowd and wonderful staff. We even had Joe up on stage singing a little Elvis with "Can't help falling in love"--pretty sure he'll be back with another one next time. We're looking forward to a return date soon...

June 15, 2016
Buck & Honey's, Sun Prairie, WI
It was a bit warm and humid when we started our first set (works wonders for guitar and bass tuning!), but it quickly developed into a gorgeous evening to be back on the patio at Buck & Honey's for the first time this year--in fact, last time was about 10 months ago, way back on August 1, 2015! It was great to see lots of old friends and meet new ones. A special treat for us was having Jim's sister, Sue, arrive with family all the way from Charleston, South Carolina--OK, by way of Maquoketa, Iowa (visiting daughter Kelli and the new baby), but still a long drive to come and enjoy a Wisconsin evening on the patio with us! It's summer, folks--get out and enjoy it!

June 14, 2016
Living Water Church, Sun Prairie, WI
Summer Family Fun night!--Brats, hot dogs, popcorn, face painting, bouncy house, gaga ball, a little rain, and some live tunes--great to see so many folks from the neighborhood drop by to just enjoy some time together.

June 11, 2016
Watertower Chop House, Sun Prairie, WI
Hot and humid outside, but cool and comfortable inside at the Chop House. This night included a nice crowd of listeners--makes it extra fun, but keeps us on our toes! Always good to see dancers out enjoying the spacious floor. Looking forward to being back in the the fall...

June 3, 2016
Holiday Inn Harborview, Port Washington, WI
Pirate Fest Eve!--Our first road trip to Port Washington--what a beautiful spot! We had great fun playing on the patio of the Rusty Anchor--a wonderful crowd (including bunches of friends and family from Milwaukee and Madison), great weather, a beautiful waterfront view, and gracious hosts (thanks, Patrick!). We had a bit of extra fun donning some real, authentic, genuine, bona fide pirate attire! Can't wait to be back for Port Fish Day next month...

June 1, 2016
It was sad news indeed to hear that one of our favorite patio spots--Uno Pizzeria & Grill on Mineral Point Rd.--closed abruptly a few weeks ago. But we were thrilled to be in contact with the folks at Uno East to simply schedule the same summer dates on their newly expanded patio (including fire pit). And what a great time we had opening the Summer Sunset Series--perfect weather, wonderful view of the sunset, great food and beverages, and gracious hosts (thanks to Blake, Lucas, and all the staff). And we're especially excited to find a new guest artist on the Uno staff--Amanda will be joining us again after her wonderful rendition of "Wayfaring Stranger"! Be sure to join us soon...

May 22, 2016
Private party, Sun Prairie, WI

May 21, 2016
Octopi Brewing, Waunakee, WI
Our first time playing in the front yard at Octopi Brewing (home of 3rd Sign Brewery) and our first time playing ourdoors this year--on May 21!!?! It was a beautiful night, the crowd was great (including a good number of old friends), and our hosts were very gracious--thanks to Mark and all the staff. Brad always enjoys playing outside and having the freedom to be more dynamic on the drums, and that encourages us all. We even brought a new song, the 1969 Jackson 5 hit "I want you back"--great fun! We're hoping to be back soon--be sure to join us.

May 6, 2016
Watertower Chop House, Sun Prairie, WI
We missed Brad (and his novel drum setup) this time, but we still had great fun back at the Chop House. It's always encouraging to have energetic dancers taking advantage of the beautiful dance floor (and yes, that is Scott out there being extra energetic!). We were happy to do "Riverboat" as a special request; it's nice to get a special request for an original song, but even nicer to hear it's "my favorite song"--not just on the new CD, but ever! Hmmm. Thanks, Judy!

April 28, 2016
Buck & Honey's, Sun Prairie, WI
CD release show!--Just too much to say. We had great fun celebrating the time and effort that went into the new CD, and we were honored to have so many friends and family out to celebrate with us. Lots of folks contributed to this special event (and a sincere thank you to all), but two people had hands directly on the final product itself: special thanks to Brandon, for his engineering and marketing expertise, and to Lucas for his creative design work on the new logo and CD art. This whole project was a great experience for us--we may do it again next year!

April 15, 2016
Daly's Bar & Grill, Sun Prairie, WI
Our first date at Daly's, and we had a blast! The stage was amazing (very spacious, with lots of lighting), the crowd (many old friends and lots of new ones) was energetic and interactive, and our hosts were wonderful (thanks to Scuba, Joe, Tim, and all the staff). Hoping to be back soon...

April 12, 2016
East Side Club, Monona, WI
Skilaufer Dance Club--Our first time playing for the Skilaufers--what energy! We met lots of new friends, saw lots of great dancing, and thoroughly enjoyed bring the tunes to an appreciative crowd. Special thanks to Curt and all the folks who keep this group going strong. We'll be back in the fall!

April 2, 2016
Watertower Chop House, Sun Prairie, WI
Another fun night at the Chop House with lots of family and friends--including our youngest dancer ever! We were excited to bring two new songs: "Deperado," a huge 1973 hit for both the Eagles and Linda Ronstadt, and the 1941 Ink Spots hit, "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire"--great fun!

March 18, 2016
Rex's Innkeeper, Waunakee, WI
Back at the Innkeeper (with the incredible dance floor), we had to wait a bit until the Badger men finished narrowly defeating Pitt in the NCAA basketball tournament, but at least that put everyone in a good mood for the evening! Right up there with the win, other highlights of the evening included Brad back with us on drumset, Dawn joining Amy for their special rendition of "Chain of Fools," special friend Terri spending lots of quality time on the dance floor, and Amy getting a polka lesson she'll never forget from new friend (and amazing dancer) Diane. Looking forward to next time...

March 12, 2016
Buck & Honey's, Sun Prairie, WI
Another cozy evening in the lounge, with a bit of dancing and lots of friends (including Ed and Mo, of course, Jon and Joce, Phil, and a table full of Amy's work friends). St. Patrick's Day around the corner--looking forward to patio weather...

March 5, 2016
Brink Lounge, Madison, WI
Charity Jamboree--We were honored to be back at the Charity "Music Can Beat MS" Jamboree, a gathering of more than 30 musical groups from around the area helping to raise funds for the National MS Society, the American Diabetes Associaion, and the UW Carbone Cancer Center. We were back at one of our old stomping grounds, the Brink Lounge, to share some tunes in support of this great event. Watch out for the announcement of next year's Jamboree--you won't want to miss it!

February 20, 2016
Watertower Chop House, Sun Prairie, WI
Back at the Chop House with their beautiful dance floor, and this was the big one--friends and family (too numerous to name) from far and near came out to celebrate Mo's special day. We attempted a Blues Brothers review (with "Think" and our rendition of "Sweet Home Chicago"--a new one for us), friend and lead singer Laura ("Weezy") came up to join us for some "Chain of Fools," and even Kevin came up with us to sing "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." It was a special treat for Amy to have special friend Terri out to hear us for the first time. And yes, that's local celebrity Chris and his daughter Olivia out on the dance floor (hi, Mikey!). A great time enjoyed by all, and Happy Birthday, Mo!

February 19, 2016
Rex's Innkeeper, Waunakee, WI
Another fun night at the Innkeeper--always energizing to watch the dancers on that beautiful dance floor. And it was a special night for the band--Mo's REAL birthday, just a quiet celebration with friend Anita, coming all the way from Florida. Happy Birthday, Mo! But wait, there's more (see tomorrow night at the Chop House)...

February 13, 2016
Plattdeutscher Hall, Watertown, WI
Watertown Dance and Social Club--We had a great time being back with this wonderful group to celebrate Valentine's Day. They invited us to join them for a wonderful dinner, and then we played while they danced the night away! Hoping to be back soon...

January 15 & 16, 2016
Rex's Innkeeper, Waunakee, WI
It was a "two shows only" weekend at the Innkeeper--a first for us. We had a fun crowd and great dancers both nights, even Saturday night during the Packers playoff loss to that other team (bummer). We're definitely enjoying the large stage and amazing dance floor here--you simply must join us next time!
